Embrace's latest album "Out Of Nothing",  has today entered the UK album chart at number one! This is the band's second number one album, the first being "The Good Will Out" back in June 1998. "Out Of Nothing" sold nearly twice as many copies as "The Good Will Out" in it's first week, going gold on the first day of sale.

All this despite many problems with stock throughout the week as fans were greeted with empty shelves in many retailers due to the unexpected demand for the album.

The band's brand new album "Out Of Nothing" is now available to buy from all good record stores and online retailers across the country. The release sees nine brand new unreleased tracks from the band, as well as their recent hit single "Gravity" which reached number seven in the UK singles chart last Sunday.

The tracklisting for the album is as follows:

01. Ashes
02. Gravity
03. Someday
04. Looking As You Are
05. Wish 'Em All Away
06. Keeping
07. Spell It Out
08. Glorious Day

THE SECRET WILL OUT
EMBRACE have revealed plans of a secret UK tour, set to kick off later this month.

The band have announced that they will play in secret locations from September 24 and fans will be notified of the exact venues via text messages to their mobile phones.

Further details of the gigs and information about how to register, visit Embrace's website, www.secretgig.com.

The group, who scored at Top Ten hit yesterday (September 5) when their new single Gravity went in at seven, rounded off the last of their recent run of secret gigs on Shepherds Bush Green last Friday (September 3).

Hours before their sell out show at the Shepherds Bush Empire, hundreds of fans holding white balloons turned out to see a four-song acoustic set.

Kicking off the show, singer Danny McNamara said: Don't let go of the balloons, we're on the Heathrow flight path and we'll all be in trouble if you do!

The band then went on to play  All You Good Good People, Gravity, Wonder and Come Back To What Know.

Later that night Embrace took to the stage at the Empire, playing a career-spanning set, including seven songs from their forthcoming Out Of Nothing album and a new song called Even Smaller Stones.

COLDPLAY CHRIS MARTIN   has written the comeback single for his old mates can exclusively reveal. Martin and Embrace's Danny McNamara are old friends and played together back in 2000 before Coldplay's monumental rise to fame.  Chris has never forgotten how the group helped out in the early days and as a result has donated the song Gravity, which will be the first track to be lifted from Embrace's long-delayed new album which is due on September 13. Speaking about the song, Chris Martin said: "We've always loved Embrace and Danny is one of my best friends. When we wrote  we thought it sounded far too much like them for us, but not too much like them for them, so I asked Danny if he wanted the song and that was that."

Gravity is released on Independiente on August 30.
